Mike and Kathy are the best. They build the amazing Explorer Motorhome which is ideal for New Zealand roads, campsites and freedom camping. 

 

Mike and Kathy's after sales service is unbeatable. They are so accommodating to any questions Explorer owners have. From when we first met Mike and Kathy at the Motorhome show, through the entire 18 month process we were kept informed. Even when I turned up unannounced at their workshop they were so welcoming. 

 

We have had the most wonderful experiences of touring New Zealand in the last year and this is due to the brilliant design and build of the Explorer.

It's worth waiting for the best

We would just like to let you know how absolutely thrilled we are with our new motorhome!! It is living up to all our expectations and more, after the wait. You have certainly tweaked everything to be so user friendly and so functional. Many ‘guided tours’ have been given over the last few days and even the most discerning viewers have been well impressed (and jealous).
 

We are so looking forward to getting out and about. We feel invincible and will be on the road in the next couple of weeks. Autumn ... bring it on.

Five years of Explorer ownership

​

We have had our Explorer Motorhome for five years. It has certainly lived up to all our expectations. Being 4 wheel drive our recent trip to the South Island, including doing the 200 kms of Molesworth Station, on metal roads the Explorer with the Pedders upgrade of suspension handled it with ease.

It is compact but roomy; easy to drive and park.

Being part of the Explorer family with the great after sales service.

Mike, your speciality must be recycled gypsies like me.  You were wonderful and your time was seriously appreciated.  Together you both form a top team and it looks like I've joined your fanclub for my remaining travelling days.

I thought it was a good time to let you know how happy we are with our Explorer Navigator. Our experience dealing with Explorer Motor homes has been an absolute pleasure.

 

One of the main reasons we bought the Explorer is because I do a lot of surfing.

I am able to easily strap boards to the side of the van and the 4WD is perfect for some of the area's we go. Also very easy for us to carry our E-bikes on the back with a towbar mounted rack.

 

The set up with the big back window is perfect when we reverse the back to face the water.

The luton bed is excellent with plenty of height. All the systems on the van are set up perfectly for easy use.

Oh, and we also love that we get so many comments on how cool the van looks. Something I completely agree with.

 

I don't give a 10 out of 10 very often but we have had a 10 out of 10 experience with this product and your team right from the beginning.

 

Keep up the good work.

It's not for sale!

We are proud and happy owners of an Explorer Motorhome which has Navigator’d us everywhere we have wanted to go in style and comfort - in or out of 4WD from the ocean to the mountains all over New Zealand.

 

People often ask to look or buy but it's not for sale. A friend once said "the Navigator is so f----n practical it just makes sense".
